We’re starting again with an event that brings together words, illustrations and nature — an afternoon of dialogue and discovery in collaboration with the Dicembre Letterario Festival and the Jane Austen Club – Jane Austen Club Sardegna (Women’s Literary Circle) Il Club di Jane Austen Sardegna- Circolo Letterario Femminile. .

The Jane Austen Club Sardegna welcomes graphic journalist Takoua Ben Mohamed for an engaging conversation about her new book Don’t Poke the Muslim Woman (Becco Giallo Edizioni).
An intense and ironic work in which the author recounts— with intelligence and sarcasm—her experience as a Muslim woman, artist and activist living in Italy. Through comics, Takoua tackles prejudice, stereotypes and highly topical issues with a sharp, critical взгляд.
She will be joined in conversation by Giuseppe Floris, in an event that is part of the previews of the 10th edition of the Dicembre Letterario Festival.
The initiative is organized in collaboration with the Tesori a Fumetti Festival promoted by the Municipality of Pimentel.
